In a preview of his rare-joint interview on Meet the Press with Joint Chiefs chairman General Martin Dempsey, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta shares his disappointment on the lack of attention paid to issues ranging from cyber-attacks, Afghanistan and the war on terror in the recent Senate confirmation hearing for Secretary of Defense nominee Chuck Hagel.

And the supporters of this administration were greatly "disappointed" in the coaching and prep work done for this session. It must have been anticipated.
