Single moms DO have to hurry home to the kids to feed them. We also have to go through times when it seems we have to ask off all the time for Dr, dentist, teacher, etc appointments. No dad to share with that. Makes us look bad at work when men do not have that scheduling task.

I see the Benghazi story as a smoke screen. Tom is right we are not seeing the big picture. We are failing to talk about what happened with the right-wing people that put out the film that enraged the Middle East and beyond.

Mitt Romney is using "kaizen" in his constant moving of positions to suit the consumers tastes. Works in business ans it is working in Romney's campaign. But no one is smart enought to see that.

Romney unique qualifications that means he is a business man. He strips problem companies and turns them around. Will he use the same tactics on this country? If not then his unique business experience is irrelevant.

Why doesn't David Gregory continue to press his guests, when they blow smokescreens and don't answer his questions with specifics? For example, Senator Ron Portman never stated any items that would be cut to support Romney's five point "program"...instead he turned his answer into a political stump speech by using a bunch of talking points parroted continually by Romney and his surrogates about President Obama. Even after Gregory asked for specifics, he let Portman get away with it! Gregory is not tenacious enough...he should continue to go back to his question 'til he gets an answer, or at least makes the point that he HASN'T gotten an answer!

David Gregory is not tenacious enough when it comes to following up on questions that he has asked a guest, who continues to blow smokescreens instead of giving an answer. For example, Senator Ron Portman was asked to name specific tax cuts that would be made in order to pay for Romney's 5 Point Program. Rather than be honest, and state mortgage or childcare deductions, for example, Portman continued with the typical Republican stump speech, anti-Obama rhetoric, and never gave specifics as asked, and Gregory let him get away with it! When a respected news program like Meet the Press lets a campaign get away with this kind of thing, it legitimizes the campaign for the substance it lacks!!

Why did David Gregory not ask about voter fraud in VA and in Florida. Acorn, which was manufactured by Karl Rove and Breitbart was on constantly but this time the voter fraud is real, by a guy who was high up in the RNC and used over and over by the RNC, and Romney, even though this Sproul guy was caught doing voter fraud as far back as the 2004 election. Instead we get this trumped up political ploy day after day about what terrorist attack or attacks by terrorist means. Something that is real and illegal is ignored by Gregory. Why??

Another issue that gets a pass for what ever reason is Romney not showing his tax returns for the last ten years. In Freeport Illinois Bain, which is still 51% owned, no matter what he says, by Romney is shutting down Senata, an auto part manufacturer and sending the company to China. If this had been Obama who refused to show his tax returns or owned 51% in a company that offshore US jobs, I am sure Greogory would have been all over it. What gives here? The meaning of words like terrorit attack or attacks of terror and optimal or the meaning of letting a guy get away with being a Vulture Capitalist, sending US jobs off shore and lying about his past. Why is that?

My comment is I wish they would abolish the electoral college.I have been around 70 years for many elections and it seems as though the only states that count are the ones your hearing about.What about all the other states.I don't care about popular or electoral,EVERY vote from EVERY state should count.Every one keeps bashing Romney,what exactly has Obama done to help the country beside the trillions of dollars he's borrowed from China.In Texas hes made it so that illegals can get social security and most anything else they want free.The young girls keep having babies that the taxpayer is paying for and everyone is afraid to say anything.Welfare country is what we have become.I receive a very small soc.sec. check but I worked over 45 years to earn what little I get, not people on welfare ( the ones abusing the system).Military,disabled and really needy should be able to receive some help,but not make it a full time job,especially the illegals.I might be old but I see where this country is going with Obama and God help us it scares me.If anyone wants to criticize me fine, but please stop to see what is happening.Obama has done nothing but hurt this country and believe me it won't stop if he is reelected.And the so-called media is so biased its pitiful.All the major news co.and yes even Mr. Gregory.You can see it in his interviews.Why doesn't he respond hard on the democrats as he does the republicans.Are the democrats so afraid of losing their jobs they are enlisting the help of the media to sabotage the election.Didn't their parents teach them to play fair or are they just being high brow bullies????
