How can the Republican pundits use Clinton's Slick Willy label to rationalize Romney's lies and flip/ flopping?

I respect Tom Brokaw greatly. However I'm amazed by his comment that"neither candidate has told the American people that getting the deficit under control is going to be hard" - did he see any of the Clinton or Obama speeches at the DNC ? - where that pont was made explicitly. I want to hold Obama accountable for his administration's performance as much as anyone but stop misleading people in an effort to come across balanced and unbiased. The media need to get their act together and get out of this malaise. Just because Fox news calls you biased and liberal leaning doesn't mean that you should be neutral to a point of being of little or no value to anyone.

I really need to understand this, Romney has been running for President since 2006, along with all the other people he ran against in the 2012 Primary. The only persons missing from the republican 2008 campaign are Palin and McCain; so I have to ask what is it that independent's need to make a decision about someone they already kicked the tires on several times? Romney was passed over so much that he dropped out of the 2008 campaign and during the 2012 primary he won because the other candidates were just not crazy and extreme enough for the Tea Party and the far right so he managed to get the moderate and center to hold their nose. So now you mean to tell me that the independent voter still need time to make up their minds on two people that they already know. So the only conclusion I can make is that these so called Independent's either did not vote in the last election because who ever they supported did not win the primary or the media is portraying these people as racist but not so racist that they can't be convinced not to elect Romney. The truth of the matter is if you have not made up you mind about a candidate by now, then you don't need to vote, you need to just do noting.

An American Aristocracy, who made their fortunes on the backs of American workers… The water, air and wealth of resources used to manufacture the goods. The brain power and innovation, with American ingenuity, technology, ideas… using infrastructure paid for by the American taxpayer… And how did they repay us? The silver spoon, trust fund baby m’f***er’s moved all our jobs to Asia, fouled our environment with stuff that would make a bill goat puke and turned our politicians into a stable of high priced prostitutes.
