Why in god's name do you keep having Tracy Morgan on your political roundtable? It render the session unwatchable.
I am so tired of hearing that President Obma brought in Bin Ladin. He was the Commander in Chief, yes. But he did nothing different then any other American would have done. The Navy Seals brought in Bin Ladin. They had a definite location and knew he was there. Any President would have done the same thing. It is like saying I brought in Bin Ladin because i am a Navy Vet.
Sorry. We americans felt weak when Bush failed to do it. We are feeling much
stronger now. bin ladden and kaddafi are dead. thank you Mr. President.

Then why didn't President Bush give the order for the navy seals to get Bin Ladin when they knew where he was, when Bush was the commander in chief?? If it was so easy and natural to do, why didn't he give the order, and get the credit for it?? I get tired of all those who seem to think it was an easy order to give, and to not give credit for a very difficult decision.

Really? Then why is it that Bush failed to bring him in? Bush himself, on a number of occasions, gave the distinct impression that getting OBL was NOT a priority. And this stance is entirely consistent with, surprise, not getting him.
You're giving the Navy Seals all the credit for bringing him in? Aren't you forgetting a little something? They didn't act independently, did they? It was the President's decision. They work for him, remember. And the weight of that decision, it's success or failure, wasn't a weight they had to carry; the president did.
If I remember correctly, was it not Mr. Bush who said he wasn't all that concerned any more about Bin Laden....that is why Obama stepped it up because they had all but let him go............lets not forget that please!
Kasim Reed is an impressive young politician. His focus on transparency is right on. Obama came into office with the talk being he would be the technology president. And much of his budget for ACA is for technology - which results in transparency. Why is no one talking about this! Why is no one telling people what this means for government. Do you want small government or open government? One you can engage. I love the young Republican niece who lives in rural Alabama who is constantly confused about how to source a fact and what even a fact is (honestly!) and wants smaller government (small spaces mentality right?!) - but is so constantly campaigning for the RR ticket and applauds the State's Governor for standing up for some ridiculous appeal of ACA (that will eventually hurt her...) These folks are walking contradictions. I think they just don't know what good government is - it's them. And without technology budgets we take two steps backwards as a Nation. They don't get it.

Who is this man who says he is going to cut the tax rate down to 20 % while he will not even tell us how he is going to do it, but his constituents are just suppose to trust him and never mind if Democrats or swing voters do not trust him?
After reviewing Mitt Romney’s half-released corporate tax plan, economists have said Mitt Romney’s 20% proposal cannot possibly be done while paying down the deficit without eliminating a percentage of tax credits from the current Middle Class taxpayers.
Realize that while the government can tax taxable income at any lower rate, including at 20%, if the government takes away 2% of the private sector’s current average 22% rate taxpayer’s credits and tax return amounts, the government would still be taxing taxpayers, in the end, at 22 %.
If taxpayers do not get as much in tax returns under a Romney Administration, the government would, actually, be keeping more of taxpayer’s money, and therefore, taxing at a higher average rate than even our current 22% rate.
Our country does not need a President who would have the government treating the collective $3 trillion a year American Taxpayers as a corporate competitor, to keep secrets from, or to swindle, instead of treating us as an equal corporate partner.

I think its time the American people were exposed to what Romney is doing with Sensata....now you know why he said let Detroit go bankrupt, he's shipping jobs to CHINA...yes, CHINA and paying just 99 c per hour to these workers. I think the American people would appreciate a TRUTHFUL debate wherein a subject matter expert (SME) "calls" the candidate when he exaggerates or misrepresents the truth or out and out lies. We need a SME who raises a red flag -- during the debate -- when the candidates are "spinning" or not giving us the truth. I'm not knowledgable about many of the topics and I rely on the pundits, in the days following the debate, to tell who was "spinning" or dishonest, but by then, I've made an impression based on inaccurate information. I'm disgusted with the "he said / he said" -- stop attacking each other and tell us your position -- TRUTHFULLY -- and not what the party line tells you to say.

Thank goodness they have an adult on this panel. He seems to be the only one who has done his homework. What is the name of the host these days? This is a press who are like a bunch of high school girls wanting to be part of the in crowd more concerned about which celebrity will be with Obama. Al Jazeera is more fair and balanced these days. I am embarrassed by our American press. I have been watching MTP for 30 years and never was so disappointed. How I miss Russert. You have failed the American people who look for the press to be their first defense. As of today I switch to Face the Nation.

I used to be a Republican and am now an independent. The extremes of both of the campaigns makes me sick. However, I'm less afraid of Obama than I am of Romney. I would be one of the folks affected by the medicare voucher program. I don't want to see another unnecessary war. As a middle class tax payer, I wouldn't mind paying more if it were targeted towards the deficit. I also believe that there needs to be better management of social programs. There are jobs out there, but we don't have qualified people to fill them, so they are being shipped overseas, we need to train our people for the "new" economy. We need a President who understands that point.
Wow!!! It took 10 yrs. to find Bin Laden the killer of thousands of Americans both in America and at war. Wow!!! 4 Americans were killed in Libya...the President said, the killers will be tracked down killed!!!
