Christie: Blah, Blah. Everytime questions are given to a Republican they avoid the answser and blast the Democrats. If Romney takes us back to greatness it would be because Obama laid the ground work. I really don't think the debates are going to change the numbers much.
President Obama should spend the day with comedians such as Chris Rock before the debates. That way he can learn to treat Mitt Romney like a drunk heckler in the comedy club. (lol)
So Chris Christy says the key swing voters haven't paid attention to this election till now, this late date. What does that show?
They are not in any economic pain.
They are philosophically aloof.
Their moral grounding is unclear and starkly distinct from people who are working for health care reform, and Obama who went out on a limb to get ACA passed.
They don't see the value of pulling out of the endless wars.
They don't see Romney's plea for fewer regulations and removing other economic barriers as essential.
So who are these people? Cardboard self-interested people? People who are naive, casual, parochial, or cynical? They will decide?

Nice dismissal of a sector of the electorate (i.e. fellow Americans) less ideological than you. You're really showing your colors and character with that comment.
The show (inadvertently) handicapped Christie when asking him to comment on an Obama TV ad. He was unable to view it and could respond only to the ad's voice-over.
Had he been able to view the ad, Gov. Christie likely would have *strenuously* objected to the images it presented as representative of "the 47 percent" to which Mr. Romney's surreptitiously-recorded remarks referred. Those images were of genuine Americans, whose present and future are absolutely CENTRAL to Mr. Romney's campaign and his economic objectives. NBC did the Romney campaign a genuine disservice when the governor was so handicapped.
as one who has lived in the state of NJ for over 25 yrs and a voter.....please believe me anything that comes out of the mouth of the current gov. is a blatant lie. all he cares about is making himself and his buds richer.....he has destroyed the nj schools, caused nj unemployment rate to go higher . He is a perfect example of a rude rich american glutton.
David Gregory lacks objectivity. He is a disgrace to Tim Russert's memory and does not promote fair and unbiased discussions/debates at the round table. He makes negativecomments about Obama that lacks truth and yet avoids huge and constant mistakes by the Republican Party. Therefore, how can he be trusted to be an impartial moderator when he is more of an activist or coach for the GOP.
He does nothing for the people. He should be sent to FOX where he would be more at home.
I couldn't agree more. Tim Russert was a true journalist and an excellent anchor. Gregory has consistently given Romney a platform through MTP. It's so very obvious. He sure has had a lot of advice for a flailing Romney campaign during the past year. He does it slyly by airing his views through mouthpieces like the guy who commented after the clip on Romney's assertions that Obama would use lies against him at the debate. When Rendell tried to comment Gregory broke away for a commercials and announced the topic would be shifting to something else. When they returned, Gregory dove into debate styles. If we want obfuscation and biased reporting we know where to go. Why doesn't MSNBC replace this puppet?

What a surprise to see Ralph Meeks on MTP! Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't he connected to Casino Jack and Grover Nyquist? Bill Moyer has a clip where Meeks is telling Pastors that the poor deserve to be poor! WOW. I would be interested in MTP addressing the assault on the Cannabis community. Could it be that Cannabis is the greatest medical breakthrough in the battle against Cancer? Why is the current adminstration hunting us down in greater numbers than Bush? Interesting that the United States Chamber of Commerce has taken a great interest in the state of Montana, subverting work comp regs and the complete gutting of a citizens initiative that won with 62% in favor of Cannabis. Is that why NDAA is not being addressed by MTP? Over half the country is in favor of decrim of mmj, why then are we being shut out of the discussion? Could we at least put the question of patient/treatment choice on the table,or are Fema trailers for us?
With all due respect David Gregory misquoted the President this morning.
GREGORY: The President has said as recently as May of this year that al Qaeda has not had a chance to rebuild, that al Qaeda has been defeated. There is an election on, as we’ve been talking about, and the President’s challenger said plain and simple, the President failed to level with the American people and call this a terrorist attack, because you had to be concerned about another terrorist attack from al Qaeda in the Middle East after the President said that al Qaeda had been defeated. What the President reall said---The goal that I set — to defeat al Qaeda and deny it a chance to rebuild — is now within our reach. Fox news would be proud of David Gregory but Gregory would not be. I have great respect for Mr Gregory but this is not his finest comment.
What I want to know is why Meet The Press is scraping the bottom of the scum-bucket barrel by giving Ralph Reed a voice? I used to watch MTP religiously, but if you're going to give proven con men and crooks a voice without first giving the viewing audience a heads up on the character of these individuals... I'm going to start sleeping in on Sunday.
Wow so much has changed. I remember watching Meet the Press on TV with my Dad and a lady was the host name Martha Roundtree and before I realized it a man took over name Ned Brooks. Well that was 59 years ago but Meet the Press gave honest fair/balance reporting. Today the lies about Obama told by David was shocking and shows the Meet the Press has changed for the worse. Obama has not been perfect but lies are hurting our country. When a host uses his/her political position to viewers it's time to change the channel. Today was a sad day for loyal Meet the Press viewers.
What's up with Gregory misquoting Obama now? Is there a FOX in his henhouse? Truly unethical and disgusting. When is NBC going to wise up and dump guy?

Baloney...Susan Rice flat out lied and did so at the direction of the white house. David Plouffe is full of nothing but "fluff"
For once - Obama surrogate gets tough questions - same for Romney surrogate
Wouldn't it be nice if that were the norm?
I'm convinced more than ever that the media is in Obama's back pocket. No mention of Libya. Just more of how it's over for Romney.
Then maybe you should start watching Fox, they are on your side.
President Obama should spend the day with comedians such as Chris Rock before the debates. That way he can learn to treat Mitt Romney like a drunk heckler in the comedy club. (lol)

Christy is expecting a Hail Mary. But Romneys Mormon, so not sure what Mormons call a Hail Mary.

Right. New Jersey was in A-1 condition before he came along, eh?
So...How many more Democrats did David Gregory alienate from "MTP" this week?
Me... just by having a slime ball like Ralph Reed a voice. WTF is wrong with Gregory that you'd even consider him for the show?

Meet the Press AKA FOX NEWS
We need a Fair and Consistent moderator. Not a GOP Advocate.
This is not like the old Meet the Press. This is a Klan meeting plus one. Dick, I mean David is all smiles.
This election is about class-warfare.
Hummm...Everyone at the table is wealthy.
No middle-class concerns there!
What's the name of this show again?
Meet the FOX starring David G.
Fluff, Fluff, Fluff. I would rather watch veggie tales.

More of what we've come to expect from MTP. This program is going straight down the tubes.

Either Gregory goes or MTP goes. Let's see if the executives at MSNBC really care about honest and fair reporting.
Done with MTP watched for 20 + years but can't take Gregory ugh!!! please go to Fox where you belong

That's it in a nutshell.
