Rudy Giuliani dug-in this morning and reaffirmed comments he made earlier this week about Vice President Joe Biden.
"Joe's a laugh line on Jay Leno. He's not a Vice President, just a joke," Giuliani said.
The former Republican presidential candidate lauded praise on Mitt Romney's VP running mate, Paul Ryan, saying that, even though Giuliani would have preferred Marco Rubio, Ryan was a "bold choice."
In Giuliani's opinion, Ryan's position on medicare might be a liability in the fall. "I’m worried that the gamble might not work; every gamble might not work. ... I believe it'll work. But I can't guarantee that," he said.
Giuliani also said he understands the Romney campaign's decision to not release more years of tax return documents. The Obama campaign has publicly requested that Governor Romney release at least five years of returns but Giuliani thinks that is not necessary and would only serve as a distraction to voters.
He warned, "If you take 10 years of somebody's tax returns who's made the kind of money that Mitt Romney has, anybody, you can spend 3 months making that person look bad and getting them off-message."

Children with pre-existing conditions much be covered. Insurance companies cannot impose lifetime dollar limits on essential benefits such as hospital services. So I can truthfully say that President Obama and Vice-President Biden did care about the middle class and have done what they could for all of us. The republicans opposed all improvements and all benefits. The GOP stood in the way of helping the American people when they were down, way way down because of the Bush/republican recession.

Last I looked our unemployment is still above 8% after the Pres stated it would not go above 8% if he got this funding. And millions who are not counted, have stopped looking. Evidently your not a Senior or on prescriptions drugs. When your 30 day supply of Brand name drug cost $465, 50% isn't that much savings. Not everyone can take Generic drugs since the have far more side effect so this cost is still there. Senior will have to wait until 2020 for the donut hole to close completely.
This so called "free" preventive services is BS. Co-pays increased from $10 to $30 once Obama care started to kick in. There are no free services. Not only that, Dr are not accepting "new" Medicare patients. They are serving the ones they have, but are not accepting new ones. Just because you read it on some blog, doesn't make it so. "Grandfathered" plans can still charge beneficiaries part of the cost for preventive services.
Well, there isn't any plan right now and they have yet to come up with any Federal Plan. Pre-existing doesn't go into effect until 2014. State Plans are only if they opt into the program and they don't have to by the Supreme court ruling.
Who do you think is paying for all this so called "free" service? Middle class. The Middle Class saw their insurance premiums jump from 12% to 28% last year. Payroll medicare deduction is going up from 1.45% to 2.35% on middle class couple making $250,000.
Who do you think put the Medicare drug program in? It wasn't Obama. Republicans do not want a government run program. Republicans proposed plans to knock out pre-existing conditions and the cancellation of insurance policies when people got sick. That is all we needed, now what we have is a bureaucratic mess that's going to severely hurt our valuable health care system.

I can say that for most of Robert Byrd's life and even when he was very elderly and in poor health Robert Byrd came to his job and voted with the Democrats on several very important matters. He may have been in the KKK at one time. The last time I checked, people enter into credit card agreements, mortgage loan agreements, and health insurance contracts voluntarily.
