Wasn't it Joe Biden that labeled Rudy as "a noun a verb and 911?" I think that encapsulation was just a little too accurate for Rudy. He has probably longed to tarnish Joe ever since.
Joe comes off a little boorish from time to time, but then so did Harry Truman. And, the chain comment was over the top, but I don't think he meant to limit the comment to African Americans.

If Biden is such a lousy campaigner, then Ryan should clean his clock at the debate. But Biden is refreshingly honest and Ryan was a big spender at times and now wants to act like we have to cut to the bone - all at once - even if people have to be pushed out of wheelchairs. Joe won't mince his words too much. But that won't necessarily be good for Ryan.
