House Democratic Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) accused her Republican colleagues of acting as a "mouthpiece of the health insurance industry," and said their calls for the repeal of the Affordable Care Act are "unrealistic."
Pelosi, who spent a lot of political capital to get the bill passed in 2010, disagreed with critics who say the new law amounts to a tax increase on the American people. "It's not a tax," she said, adding, "it's penalty for free riders."
Politically, it's unclear yet whether the Supreme Court's ruling this week will be an asset or a liability for the president. Governor Bobby Jindal - a possible Vice Presidential pick for Mitt Romney - argued the best way to challenge the president's health reform law is to "elect Mitt Romney to repeal [it]."
However, former Governor Howard Dean (D-VT) contended Jindal's argument did not make sense. "Mitt Romney is the one that showed [the individual mandate] could be done for the whole country," he said. "I don't get this at all."
You can watch the entire program on our website, and be sure to check out our roundtable that broke down what comes next for the President's health care bill. We were joined by: NBC’s Political Director Chuck Todd; Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson; the National Review’s Rich Lowry; and new co-anchor of the Today Show, NBC's Savannah Guthrie.
Meet the Press will not air next week due to NBC Sports' coverage of the Tour de France.
If it's Sunday, it's Meet the Press.

I just want someone to ask the republican point blank how affordable health care is ok for people in Mass but not the rest of the country
Well in every state in the union its cheaper than your new car note, its cheaper than your cell phone bill, Its cheaper than your cable bill, its cheaper than McDonalds 3 times a week, People dont need healtcare reform they need Priority reform
It most certainly isnt cheaper than a car note, a cell phone. How much do you pay a month for health insurance and what plan are you in and is that a group plan? You are obviously out of touch with what the true costs are for someone who isnt in a a group plan to go get a health insurance policy.
Sam sir you are for a fact out of touch reference Ehealth national report The average monthly premium paid for individual policies was $183, while the average premium paid for family policies was $414.011. and if your car note is over $180 and you dont have healthcare then priorities are not where they need to be, and that Sir is Obvious!!
I understand the states rights issue, but if the "personal responsibility principle" (Romney's individual mandate) was good for Mass, why wouldn't it work for the country. Can someone please ask Romney to explain what makes Mass so different that a policy that made perfect sense there and appears to have worked, be so wrong for the country? We should insist that the law be called Affordable Care Act and that the individual mandate henceforth be called the personal responsibility principle! Word smithing at its finest. Thanks Mitt.
As Gov Dean just said today, Texas has over a million kids uninsured. Those kids are not Texas's kids, they are America's kids. Health insurance should not just be left up to states to make sure they cover them as they dont do it! There is no excuse. In fact, MA has one of the lowest number of uninsured kids..thanks to Romneycare and his tax, aka penalty aka mandate. Apparently the man that wrote Romney care didnt think it wouldnt work for the rest of the country as he is the same man that wrote the ACA.
I would like to ask the Democrats when or if they will ever quit taking money from people who work and save it and giving it to those who refuse to do the same. We have always had safety nets for those who are truly needy and need help but it seems that the Dems are dead set on putting everyone on food stamps. The best example I can think of is the ad on TV for all seniors to get on food stamps. What kind of socialist enclave are we building?
Why is it people always think everyone else are bums and dont work and that you are the only person that does. In case you dont get it, even Dems work and pay for insurance. Those safety nets you speak of are in place for the very poor aka Medicaid but prior to the ACA, if someone got sick with cancer, an insurance company could deny you coverage and those people lost everything. They couldnt afford the cost of healthcare and would lose their homes because of it. The ACA tells insurance companies they cant kick people off the insurance, they cant deny someone for a pre-existing condition, etc. And also, there are many people who work that cant afford insurance premiums. Is it fair because someone works as a waitress, for example, that they cant get health insurance because they cant afford it? Health insurance should be available to all, not just those who make good salaries.
Health care is available to all. Question is, are you willing to make personal sacrifices to have it. The answer for those you mention is usually no they expect us that have made them for our own benefit to make the sacrifice for them and pay for there healthcare. PRIORITIES if you have a car, phone, tv, cable, or any other no essential then you need to rethink your priories. If someone does not priorities there healthcare first then why am I being forced to make there healthcare my priority.
Excuse me, but what insurance plan are you on? My son would have to pay $500.00 per month on $1100.00 in salary for a health insurance policy. Most people I know need a phone, he has a cell phone in lieu of a land-line. He could ride a bus but it would take him 2 hours to get to his job so he has a used car. So according to you people should give up their cars, their phones, just to be able to pay for health insurance? What plan are you on and how much do you pay? Is it a group plan? How much do you make a year? How will you be paying for anyone elses healthcare? You have insurance, so you wont be involved in the ACA unless you earn above $200,00 per year. And if you earn above that, why do you think you are more entitled to healthcare than those that make $15,000 per year?
Excuse me but what makes you think your personal plight should govern the entire republic and what makes you think you/anyone is ENTITLED to healthcare it is a service not a right. If you don't want to pay for that service what ever the price then don't purchase it. But be prepared you will now be taxed for not having it. And sir my personal purchases and my personal income are of no concern to you or anyone else for that matter. I have a meager highschool education and my family has sacrificed and struggled to be where we are and for what we have. Not everyone will be successful its a fact of life. I'm so tired of people who have to endure the same struggle decide since I have accomplished my success i need to contribute to there's.
And what makes you think its my personal plight Im referring to? Not everyone thinks of themselves only, as you do. I have insurance. Others dont and cant get it because of pre-existing conditions or if they can, its a charge few people can pay. They get booted off of health insurance when they get sick. Why arent their health issues as important as yours? Ehealth forgot to mention that little fact. What you dont get is those that go into emergency rooms without health insurance, you already pay for. The facts are that the ACA is for people who dont have insurance. You have yours, great, you dont have to sign on to the ACA. If you dont make above $200,00 per year you have nothing to worry about, you wont pay a thing for ACA. If you do make above $200,00, you will pay a small tax on anything above that. I feel sorry for people like you. There are lots of people that struggle, not everyone makes it out of the hole even though they try, thats reality. Peoples taxes helped pay for your high school education, maybe they dont feel they should have had to pay that but the difference between you and others is they have compassion and you dont. Once you get yours, you say screw everyone else even though you drive on road they also pay taxes for, you use our society that we all pay taxes for. The US is the only developed country that doesnt have a healthcare system for everyone. I guess you want us to stay behind the times. I have an idea, why dont you take your money that you are so afraid of losing and go live on some abandoned island that way it will be just you and your money and you can stop using our roads, our bridges, our society for what you want and then dump on everyone else that cant achieve what you were helped to achieve by the rest of us.
ah and there it is! Its always Sooo you have no heart all you think of is yourself you want to let grand maw die. Then the ours ours and the my my's. Then comes the if you don't agree with me your a sociopath so why don't you leave. Then the personal insults. Thanks for clarifying that for me.
Hey Bill, you were the one that said if you had lived in MA when Romney care was passed you would have moved. I didnt say that. I assume that means you have the freedom to leave the country as well. Whats the matter, dont like being told to stop driving on the roads we all pay taxes for? Maybe others feel the same way when you say they dont have a right to healthcare because they dont make as much money as someone else.
Still waiting on the Republican plan so far all I have seen or heard is repeal. The AHC law is not perfect Romney needs to put out his replace plan if the have one. I am beginning to think that former Rep.Grayson was right die quick! They have been doing nothing to put people back to work, fix the tax code, fix unlimited money in elections or solve immigration problem. They just seem set on passing things to try to make each other look bad. Politics is the worst it has ever been!
Health care is an important part of life. We are mandated to carry auto insurance, homeowners insurance, business insurance if we have one. What makes health insurance such a nasty thing to republicans? I don't advocate being robinhood taking from the rich & giving to the poor like republicans seem to think democrats want to do. I've worked hard for everything I've gotten. Having carried insurance for over 20 years & then having to file bankruptcy over health issues was b.s. Offing preexisting condition clauses & other health reform are doing the right thing. None of us are exempt from the possibility of a health crisis.
Post like yours have half truths and spread division and fear.
We are mandated by the individual STATE to have car insurance if you want the PRIVILEGE to drive a car.
You are mandated by the LOAN COMPANY to have insurance if you want the PRIVLAGE of buying a home with there loan.
None of these mandates are mandated by the Federal Gov your personal Health is not the BUSINESS of the Federal Gov.
Post like yours mix the welfare of our Republic with there own personal plight. .
Posts like yours are one-sided and dont give facts. If you want to collect social security for retirement, guess what you pay a tax and you have no choice in that unless the employer opts out of social security and if they do, you pay into whatever program they opt into. Its no different.
Im curious, how much do you earn a year?
Sir you make a good point I DON'T want to collect social security I want to pay my own retirement. But I cant contribute all I would chose to because I am paying for others who have failed to prepair for there own retirement to be reliant on a system that is doomed to fail. YOU pay for your retirement and healthcare and Ill pay for mine sounds fair don't it!!!!! And Sam lay off the income inquires its just rude.
Hey Bill, if you want me to layoff the income inquiries quit implying that everyone else doesnt work and that everyone is in the same position as you are. My employer doesnt pay into social security so you arent paying MY retirement and I pay for a health care policy. But in your mind, everyone else are bums except you. I wish we could ask people like you not to contribute and at the same time, we could say stop driving on our roads, using our schools, using our retirement system and stop using the health insurance policy you have because others do pay for you as well when you get sick. Thats what an insurance policy is. If you have millions to pay for your own healthcare, then do it! Otherwise quit implying that others dont pay for your healthcare because anyone in an insurance policy pays for others. What you pay in doesnt cover what is needed if you get really sick, other people paying into the health care program help cover your costs s well.
Pelosi "it's penalty for free riders." I always paid for my families insurance and bills but with this new insurance fiasco I can't afford it, so now it's a penalty for us whom did pay and still a free ride for loafers. FYI: my insurance costs where 120.00 now 600.00/mo. in three short yearsm thanks Dems.
I'd like to know more about your statement saying you cant afford to pay your insurance now...you said it went from $120 to $600 in 3 short years? The Affordable Care Act didnt take place until 2010 and no one is paying anything for the few changes that have gone into effect so far So if your insurance has gone up, you might want to talk to your insurance company because its certainly not the AFA that has caused it.
The insurance companies to my understanding are trying to position themselve for this sure hit when they must cover everyone. They started raising rates for this before it was voted in.
Well if thats true, you will be getting a rebate check this year then because part of the law that went into effect is that the insurance companies must spend 80% of premiums on medical costs. If they dont, they have to refund part of that money. Your gripe should be with insurance companies. The ACA isnt going to be covering everyone! Its for those that dont already have their own plans. Where is your anger at the health insurance companies? You act like they are god and you are beholden to them! They are part of the reason we needed the AFA because they kept jacking up premiums and were still denying people. I'd like to know who you were insured with that was only charging $120.00 per month, all the research Ive done shows no one offering that kind of premium. And if they began raising your rates 3 years ago, it wasnt due to the ACA as you indicate that would have been 2009 when the ACA wasnt brought in until 2010.
If you fail to pay your taxes you get hit with a penalty. They do not call it a tax, they call it a penalty and the IRS collects it. If you pay your taxes, no penalty. Isn't this the same thing? You have insurance thru your employer, private provider or the government, or you pay a penalty for not having coverage. Not a tax, a penalty! Romney called the individual mandate the personal responsibility principle when he was governor of Mass. I thought the right was big on personal responsibilities. Why isn't Romney calling it the personal responsibility mandate now that he is a private citizen running for office? What changed?
Still waiting to hear solution to reduce healthcare costs. All the discussions are to score political mileage particularly on the GOP side. Tell us how healthcare policy will cover all citizens as a civilized society at least minimal possible, and yet cut costs. No point spending 80% of our medicare budget on the last 6 months of a person's life; GOP is so keen to protect that for votes. We rather spend on kids so they can be productive citizens. At the same, how do we cover senior citizens meaningfully and not let them die hopelessly. Repeal anyone who comes to a hospital to be treated. That will take care of uninsured and illegal. Fix the problems and stop playing around for coming to power.
Just watched Meet The Press aired 7/1/12 with Governors Jindal and Dean. I can't believe that you actually asked former Governor Dean to clarify what the doughnut hole means in relation to medicare for seniors! If you won't take the time to prepare for your own show when moderating such important issues as healthcare then I seriously lose any confidence in you being able to identify when your guests are spouting sound bites which haven't been checked for their validity. You become incapable of moderating an intelligent discussion and either intentionally or unintentionally become part of the problem and not part of the solution. Let's hear about the statistics behind these topics and the way the statistics were gathered and not how they are taken out of context by some of your one dimensional political guests with these inane one-liner sound bites. Read the Healthcare Act (not have some aide read it and give you a summary) so that we can moderate an intelligent conversation with your guests. Stop calling America's struggle to find the right way to deal with our surmounting healthcare costs as ObamaCare because it is divisive and derisive. Mary Beth Hall is correct you are no Tim Russert. He must be spinning in his grave each time you fall short of his Meet The Press Legacy. What you are doing is dangerous and extremely stupid.
Shame on you! "I send no compliments to your mother, you deserve no such attention..." Now put on your thinking cap and figure out that last sound bite.
You should stop character assassination and get back to basics of how to solve this problem. These kinds of virulent responses have led to such caustic environment to solve any problem. If you don't like Meet the Press then don't watch. So simple! Watch Fox News instead and you see the difference, or watch CNN for donkey and a cat story.
As an Independent Voter, Cable News Corporations are not in my vocabulary. I appreciate your feedback, but it isn't as simple as not watching. Meet The Press was one of a very few news sources which still operated in a non-bias, ethical manner when Tim Russert was at the helm. I have no interest in a moderator's interpretation or personal opinion on news topics which seem to plague most cable news shows. He or she should have the capacity to promote analysis and discussion in many directions on any given news story. By not being prepared, David Gregory does a disservice to himself and to the American public. If the public does not hold him to a standard, then who will in a nation rampant with "fluff" or "wading pool depth" insights into important topics being covered the news media today? He has a plethora of choice when it comes to booking the most fantastic guests, but squanders the opportunity by being ill-prepared. Such professional incompetencies do not plague news sources like Moyers and Company, BBC World News, Frontline, Washington Week In Review, PBS News Hour and most news shows on NPR. Try them and see if the difference is not quite apparent.
I know I'm getting in here very late but, I think David Gregory asked for the explanation about the donut hole for the viewers that may not have known what he was talking about, and not for himself. I would hope that Mr. Gregory already knew what the exgovernor was talking about.
Are Christian Scientists, or for that matter, the Amish and other groups that have a religious exemption from coverage under the Act, "free loaders"?
First and foremost, The Affordable Care Act is progressive versus liberal and conservative politics that is best illustrated and embodied in the Administration's National HIV/AIDS strategy for the United States.
The political keystones of both the Act and the strategy are portability, pre existing condition, privacy and security, but for whom? Without the Act, the strategy will have no effect.
Concern for health care for children? Hardly not. This would first involve abolishing the Education Department, a federally chartered educator association as was not intended, and transferring its functions back to HHS and federally recombining the nation's children and health policy formulation and administration efforts.
Special interest politics aside, improved health care in America is achievable with reform of our existing quasi public system.
How did Nancy Pelosi ever get into politics? When will she retire??? I dread listening to her. Every time she opens her mouth she is an embarrassment to her party.
Nancy Pelosi ran the House with dignity unlike Boehner who runs it like a 3 ring circus.
Is this post a joke ???
No but yours certainly are. Any House leader that allows his member to yell at a President during a speech saying "you lie" should be thrown out office. If that happened when Bush was President you would have been outraged.
http://thinkprogress.org/health/2012/06/03/494154/romneys-likely-chief-of-staff-is-profiting-from-obamacare/
Leavitt set up insurance exchanges in all fifty states under the umbrella of "The Leavitt Partners". So how much money did Leavitt make from creating these health care exchanges and how many of them are run by Mormons and pad the Mormon church's pockets?
Leavitt wants RomneyCare as an encore to Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D). He's already set up insurance exchanges in all fifty states that are 'Leavitt Partners'.
Conservatives Wonder Why Romney Picked Obamacare-Loving Mike Leavitt To Lead Transition Team
http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/06/conservatives-attack-mitt-romney-michael-leavitt-transition-team-obamacare-exchanges.php
Romney's new campaign slogan? "Repeal and Replace ObamaCare", replace it with what?
BainCare
If Gov. Jindal thinks states are laboratories for new ideas, he should be in favor of expanding new programs if they work. Otherwise, what's the point?
So in case he wasn't paying attention to the data:
Number of uninsured in Massachusetts 2% (by far the best in the country), in Louisiana 20%
Unemployment rate in Massachusetts 6% and trending down, in Louisiana 7.2%
In Massachusetts, most people like Romneycare. That's probably because for those of us who already had insurance, NOTHING has changed, while our fellow citizens are protected.
So true. Where were all these Republicans when Romney set up the healthcare in his state? I didnt hear them crying it was unconstitutional and I dont hear any Republicans in MA complaining...and its because they like the plan. The man who set up the AFA is the same man that set up Romney care, its the same program but because Pres Obama set it up, they dont like it. Funny how its called a tax under the AFA but its a mandate in MA.
States can mandate Feds can only TAX!!
Oh so Romneys personal responsiblity fee on his healthcare in MA is a mandate but Obama's is a tax. Uh huh, keep trying to convince yourself there is a difference. In both plans, its a penalty for anyone who can afford to buy healthcare that doesnt, there is nothing wrong with it and Im surprised seeing how you a preaching personal responsilibity you dont think those people should be required to pay in. When they dont and they get sick, it raises all our premiums but yet you think thats OK.
No see that's where your wrong I would not live in a state with that type of system so I don't have to worry about that. To pass such a mandate is a states right and its my right to leave that state.
The Federal government on the other hand has not right to require I purchase a service or item it is, now pay attention here, UNCONSTITUTIONAL for them to do so. So the only way that part of Obo's plan could stand was to be called a TAX
Ah, I see you've gotten your talking points from Fox or the Repubs. So you would have left MA, if you had lived there, when Romney initiated their healthcare tax? Somehow I doubt that and you know why? Because there are plenty of Republicans in MA getting Romneycare and guess what? They arent complaining about it and its because they like it. They are silent as crickets about Romneys healthcare. The Supreme Court voted ACA as constitutional, I guess if you dont like it you are free to leave the country just as you say you would have left MA. Just be careful not to move to another developed country that has healthcare...oh wait, they all have it except the U.S. Good luck on finding your isolated island to live on.
Give us the politicians Health Care, what Puglosi and Oduma have. Now thats real health care! Not this crame-down-the-peoples-throat garbage! Why don't you demies. ask that from your God, Obama!
Guess what? The Democrats tried to! It was called the public option that the Republicans fought against.
Bend Over America!
Pelosi is a dumb bitch. All you did was try and push something else on the American people. I'll not have any of it. Take that @!$%# and shove it up your ass. THIS IS NOT THE END OF IT!
Pelosi is one of the reasons why politicians should keep their noses out of private sector decisions. Healthcare was never or is ever going to be an issue for her or any elected official. So she is not qualified to even begin to think she knows what is best for the rest of us. In order for all Americans to have equal and valued healthcare we should be allowed access to Federal Blue Cross and Blue Shield the same policy given to federal employees. All ObamaCare has done is tax us on our health insurance and made our premiuums higher while forgetting our senior citizens. Private insurance companies such as Humana, Anthem BCBS with their Medicare replacement policies are preying on senior citizens. They state they are following Medicare guidelines but require pre-authorization for medical procedures Medicare allows. Seniors are waiting days and weeks to seek approval from their providing health insurance. Maybe some of you think its ok,but you will be there one day yourself. After 15 years working in this messed up system its time for me to retire.
I wish people would learn about the facts of the ACA. First, the Dems did want the public option which is what most Fed employees including Congress have, but the Republican fought against that so it didnt happen. Second, the only ones paying tax on health insurance are those making 200,000 or more a year and even then its pro-rated and no one is paying any tax right now, that doesnt go into effect until 2014. There are protections built into the ACA for senior citizens to prevent insurance companies preying on them.
Uhh Sam when you dont get your own insurance you will be TAXED for not having it no matter your income. This Tax/Mandate dosent actually provide anyone with free healthcare unless your already a dependante of the FEDERAL GOV
As it should be! Actually if you read up on the facts, you will learn that its for those that can afford it but choose to not purchase healthcare. No reason why they shouldnt. Why should my premiums go up because of people who can afford it not buying their own insurance? No one is saying its provides free healthcare, its not free in MA either. Everyone will pay for a policy, but this will not affect those that already have their own healthcare plan. You would be screaming further if it was free, you the lord of the personal responsibility...that hasnt bothered to say what your healthcare plan is, is it a group plan, how much you earn a year. THe reason I ask is because you seem to think everyone is in your situation when in fact, they arent.
Its UNCONSTITUTIONAL to require anyone to purchase a product or service how many times will it take to say it before people will understand that regardless if someone can afford it or not the FEDERAL government cant require them to buy a product or service, you cant require them to buy a product or service, you cant require them to buy a product or service,
Apparently the Supreme Court disagrees with you. Get a grip, buddy.
Pelosi, Reed, Waters, Feinstein, Boxer are all a bunch of idiots. Pandering to the Mexicans as these Latino's take over our health care, schools, jobs and country. Unbelievable that these idiots keep getting voted back in? Could it be that Holder has "his people" out in droves guarding our election places? I am so sick of seeing Obama on TV, radio, newspaper...everywhere! Enough is enough. Romney/Allen West are some hope for us, in fact anybody would be better than the above morons!
Ah yes, its all the Latino's fault. Talk about uneducated, someone has been watching a little too much Limbaugh and Beck.
I'm an uneducated person What I'd like to see is all these elected people that say this will save money and health cost will go down.If they say it and it goes up in 2015 then they all should resign their posts in government.Let's put it on the line right now !! If they won't do it then they are lieing from the get go.I'm lucky have dual citizenship and I can go to the other country and live out my years nicely .
im tired of hearing the words, victory for the american people. maybe im wrong, but werent the majority of the people against the plan?? yeah way to go in getting a victory for the people.
Besides health care, David Gregory asked Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal about the disasterous cuts coming to The Times-Picayune, Louisiana's largest and only Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper. Please join James Carville, Linda Ellerbee, Garry Trudeau, Michael Lewis, Branford Marsalis, Anne Rice, Ed Asner and more than 8,000 others by signing a petition in support of the 175-year-old Times-Picayune at change dot org slash petitions slash save-the-times-picayune.
We the taxpayer's mostly pay for Bobby Jindal 's Federal Health Healthcare Benefits class A insurance and all of Senate ,Congress, House Reps.,clearly these groups are millionaire's, billionaire's and could afford it themselves, yet he and his colleagues who love to taunt taking away from those who need it. I would propose that we Repeal and Replace their healthcare and give all that taxpayer money to those who need it.
Why would Govenor Bobby Jindle of Louisiana Have Federal Healthcare Insurance? Last time I checked, being a governor does not make you a Federal employee. As a resident of Louisiana I may be paying something toward Bobby's insurance, I don't know. I do know that I pay toward his wages and I'm not happy about any part of that.
Minority Leader of the House, Ms Pelosi, gave the best argument for the ACA and explained it beautifully. Her comments on the House's vote on holding the AG, Mr. Holder, in contempt was spot on. I have nothing but contempt for this Congress and that's what Mr. Holder should say to them as well. Issa is as vile and contemptuous as they come. He was a felon in his younger years and you can't change the spots on that leopard.
I think this health care bill won't work. Plus I think Nancy Pelosi is out of touch with people and should be replaced like the rest of congress. It doesn't matter any more the american people know congress is a joke and they don't care. Politicians demonstrate it every year with the federal deficit.
THe ACA helps reduce the deficit. You think it wont work but you dont know...so you want to repeal it because you arent sure it wont work. Hmmm.
I know it won't work.
OK so you know it wont work, but you know nothing about the plan. Real bright. I just know it wont work.
Well to know we would have to read the Bill No one has read the Bill remember
Well, if you havent read the bill, how do you know whats in it? You've been on here telling everyone you know whats in it when in fact you dont. I have read the bill and Ive also gone to the Kaiser foundation website that gives good info. If you really want to know whats in it instead of coming here telling people falsehoods, go read about it. Personal responsiblity to learn about it, wouldnt you say?
WOW for someone who wants to sound so smart you cant spot a pun . Thank Nancy P!
Careful, your true Tea Party colors are showing! Good luck getting Romney boy elected. By the way, will you be demanding he share his 10 years of tax returns as other Presidents have, both repub and Dem? Or is that requirement only for Pres Obama.
It was interesting when Rich Lowry from National Review was asked what the GOP healthcare solution was, he said pre-existing conditions would be a problem and no one challeneged him on that. Guess what Rich, that problem has been solved with the AFA! And its solved with Romney care in MA as well so it doesnt need to be a problem.

Why would you be giving a plastic Bananna a bad time??
Isn’t it Amazing, you always hear the Republicans and TeaBilly Politicians Threatening to Reduce or Stop Payment on Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare, Food Stamps, Military Pay and Benefits , Etc. But have you ever heard of them Threatening to Reduce or Stop any of Their Pay, Healthcare and all the other Special Perks they receive (Paid for by our Tax $$$$$$$).
Lets break this down in simple terms. Republican TeaBilly Conservative = Self Righteous Hypocrite.
Yes, apparently its OK with them if we enter into 2 wars and dont pay for those but affordable healthcare for everyone, forget it. Hypocrits is right.
