The top story on our Trend Tracker this afternoon: Now that the debt deal is done, Congressional Leaders have started to name designees to the deal’s “Super Committee.” Read about 9 of the 12 appointees at firstread.msnbc.com.
At number two, Wisconsin is back in the headlines after a Democratic recall push came up short on Tuesday. The New York Times explained why some analysts were looking to Wisconsin to "gauge of voters’ moods, at least in one battleground state, in the run-up to the 2012 presidential election."
Lastly, at number three, President Barack Obama is scheduled to meet with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke sometime Wednesday afternoon. The president has a series of other meetings with business and economic leaders scheduled this week as well.
